In 1866, Elmire Jolicoeur, a French-Canadian immigrant, invented the precursor of the modern casserole in Berlin, New Hampshire. OR DID SHE? A present day journalist's curiosity leads her to discover the truth between Jolicoeur's legend and her life. This docupageant dramatizes that life, that search, and that legend with high theatricality, examining how women are portrayed by history and the media, and how in a "post-fact" society, the truth still matters even if that truth seems trivial.
