Tishk, a South Asian American ex-journalist, is writing his Dreaded First Novel but don’t hold that against him; he knows it’s bad. He and his Korean American photographer husband, Brady, are decompressing in a rented cottage by the beach, so Tishk can figure out his life after Long Covid cranked his ADHD and cost him his career. Fortunately, their marriage seems stable. Unfortunately, it's not. While Tishk spends his afternoons working at the local diner, befriended by a Filipina American waitress, Brady appears to be living a double life, and a strange man shows up everywhere either of them go. Soon, reality and perception begin to separate and blur.

Seaside Tragedies examines multicultural marriage, intimacy, identity, and prejudice through a subjective neurodivergent lens in the lingering aftermath of the pandemic.2 hours 30 minutes
